As we continue to expand our portfolio and client base, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Pre and Post Production to lead our talented team of creatives.
Position Overview:
The Head of 2D and 3D Video Production Services will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of video production, from requirement gathering and conceptualization to creative direction, storyboarding, visual effects, and video editing. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills who can manage both internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and be proficient in project management tools like Trello, WallingApp, and Frame.io. Additionally, flexibility in work hours is required to cater to clients in different time zones, primarily in the US and UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering and Conceptualization:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and project objectives.
- Develop creative concepts and strategies to meet client goals.
Creative Direction:
- Provide creative guidance to storyboard artists, visualizers, motion graphics artists, and video editors.
- Ensure that creative elements align with the project's overall vision.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor internal production teams, ensuring they produce high-quality work.
- Coordinate with external partners and freelancers as needed.
Project Management:
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Use project management tools (e.g., Trello, WallingApp) to track and manage tasks effectively.
Quality Control:
- Review and approve all creative work to ensure it meets client expectations and industry standards.
- Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Familiarity with 2D and 3D animation software is a plus.
Client Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or feedback.
Flexible Work Hours:
Be prepared to accommodate flexible work timings to cater to clients in different time zones, primarily US and UK.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in film production, digital media, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 7+ years of relevant experience in 2D and 3D video production.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a track record of successful video projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Trello, WallingApp, Frame.io).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
